Hello and welcome to my podcast, andrea TLC, in which TLC stands for the Life Coach. I am your host, andrea. Welcome and thank you for joining me here today. First, I want to give a special thank you to Gigi for her kind words during my tough, grieving time. I needed that and it was very much appreciated. So I want to say thank you again.
Speaker 1:All right, but today's episode that I wanted to talk about is the power of positive affirmations. So what are positive affirmations? Well, positive affirmations are short, positive statements that you can repeat to yourself regularly. These affirmations work to reprogram your mind, helping you to adopt new beliefs and attitudes that support your goals and desires and desires. Now, it's been said that regular affirmation practice can boost self-esteem. It can reduce stress and promote a more positive mindset. So by consistently affirming positive belief about yourself and your life, you can literally rewire your brain for success and happiness.
Speaker 1:Okay, well, how do you use positive affirmations? Well, it's actually really easy. Well, it's actually really easy. First, you want to start by identifying areas of your life where you would like to see positive change or improvements. Then you need to write down the affirmations that reflect your desired outcome.
Speaker 1:Okay, now if you're a person that is thinking well, I don't really believe in affirmations or I feel silly saying them. This is common for people to feel that way when starting out with affirmations. It's completely normal to feel a little resistant. At first. I felt that way. I was. I felt like you know, saying these affirmations are silly. The whole saying affirmations to yourself every day, the whole mission board where they tell you that, whatever it is that you desire, put it on the board. If you see it every day, it works.
Speaker 1:When I started thinking outside of the box and just start practicing or doing what others were telling me to do, I started to feel a little different. I started to have that little pick me up, especially that five or 10 minutes when I get to work and I just sat there in my car and I'm like, okay, breathe, I'm not feeling it today, it's so stressful. But then, after saying one or two affirmations reassuring myself of who I am, I started wanting to do it on a regular basis, and so it became a norm for me, and so I want to share that. Affirmations work, vision boards work, okay, and so I hope that you found this power of affirmations to be helpful, yet inspiring. Remember, you have the power to shape your reality with your thoughts and beliefs. So start using affirmations today Until next time. Peace, love and light.
